Paperly (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides a secure document management platform that lets you store, organize and manage your personal documents. This policy explains what we collect and how we use and protect it.

1) Information We Collect
  • Account: name, email, and login info you provide.
  • Documents: files you upload or sync from services you connect.
  • Google Data (optional; if you connect Google Drive): limited to files you explicitly create, open, or choose to sync within Paperly. We do not access your entire Drive.
  • Usage: device, IP, logs, and analytics for reliability and abuse prevention.
2) How We Use Information
  • Provide and improve the app (storage, search, OCR, reminders).
  • Enable integrations (e.g., Google Drive upload/download/delete you request).
  • Send service updates and important notifications.
3) Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your data. We may share with trusted processors (hosting, email, storage) under strict confidentiality, or where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

4) Google API Services

If you connect Google Drive, our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5) Security

We use encryption (in transit/at rest), role-based access, and secure hosting to protect data.

6) Your Choices
  • Disconnect Google Drive anytime in account settings.
  • Delete your account to remove stored files and linked data.
7) Children’s Privacy

The service isn’t intended for children under 13; we don’t knowingly collect data from them.

8) Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll post the new date at the top when we do.
